Halloween: How to Make Eiga Dorobo

To all the fellas out there with people to impress, it’s easy to do just follow these steps:

Step 1. Cut a hole in the box

Wait… that’s for a different Halloween costume..

Get foam from a craft store or Daiso – you’re friendly  neighborhood supplier of interior needs. Stack two long pieces together. The top piece is the external facing part of the camera, and stick it to the bottom.

Stab the front plate with a stabbing thing. That is not the technical tool name. This is a good example where stabbing is okay.

Make the lens with a medium depth baking pan and pad it with layers to get the camera lens effect. The padding is also from Daiso, and that’s the stuff you use to put between the gaps of your window to keep you +0.05 degrees warmer in winter.

The sparkles are optional. There are normal black padding as well. Spray paint the parts black for the lower piece and silver for the rest. Stick it all together with hot craft glue and hold in place for a couple of minutes. Enjoy your art work.

Build the rest of the camera and add taping for support around the edges. Spray silver once done.

Wear it to work. Be cool. Suit + white gloves. Dance moves are a big plus.
